How to link Mobile number with Aadhaar via IVR-call service

Link of your mobile number with Aadhaar process in progress, now govt has introduced IVR service through which consumer can link their Number with Aadhaar via call and no need to visit offline stores instead.Consumers have till February 6 to link their mobile number with Aadhaar.

If you want to start to link , keep your Aadhaar in hand, if you are using any operator, you simply need to call the toll-free number 14546 from the phone number.Follow these steps, as directed by the IVR service

  • Once you call 14546, you will be asked to choose whether you are an Indian or an NRI by choosing the option
  • Next you will have to give ok to link Aadhaar with your phone number by pressing 1
  • After, you need to provide your Aadhaar number and press 1 to confirm it.
  • Once it done,it will generate the OTP which will recieve on your mobile phone
  • You need to enter your phone number
  • Here, you are asked to give consent to your operator to pick your name, photo and date of birth from UIDAI data base
  • Now the IVR  now mentions the last four digits of your number to confirm that you have keyed in the right number
  • If its correct enter the OTP received
  • Now press 1 to complete the Aadhaar-mobile number re verification process
  • If you have another phone number,you can also link that by pressing 2 and following the IVR process.

OTP which you will receive is valid for 30min and can be used in case you face some network glitch,voice breeaks,disconnection.
