Everybody using VLC player, do you know many features has been added to it, with VLC you can take snapshots of video, you can make video clip and many more.
To do this Update the VLC to new version and enable the feature
Open VLC and click on View, enable the Advanced Controls
Could see below features
1. Make video clips
Whenever your watching a movie you would like save music,jokes and many clips on the movie, if like to save the clip,tune or make mp4. using this you can record and save at any time when the video is playing.
Make sure from where to where you need to record and cut the video to make your desired clip
Click on Record 
to start , it changes to 
marked once it begins and click again on Record button to end the recording. It saves in videos by default.
2. Taking snapshot from video
While watching a videos you like take pic/screenshot/snapshot from the video.Here i will show to use it.
When video is playing just click on snapshot button 
it will auto save and if you click on it will generate many snapshots and it will saves.
3. Frame by frame video play
Its just play the video frame by frame like pictures watching in player
4.How to play video clip in an movie/video continuously
In a movie or video if like to play a songs/jokes back to back , you can use looping option 2rd from the right.
Just you need to 
point A(where to start) and point B(where to end) when playing later it will auto play from that point to end point.
5.Play the same song and play random
Using 
these two enabled you can play video/mp3 back to back and if you choose random can play randomly.
